25 Mar: 10 Healthy Missional Marker Wrap-Up

In this final week of our 10 Healthy Missional Marker Series Pastor Eric recaps the past 10 weeks, summarizes important points about the markers, and reminds us of the words from Isaiah 28:23-29, that there are seasons for plowing, seasons for planting, seasons for harvesting, and seasons for turning that harvest in to something new. These markers were a season of plowing in preparation to plant what God has for us next. We also had the privilege of hearing from members of our congregation about markers or parts of markers that really stood out to them, and the ways that God used these past several weeks to speak to them.

13 Mar: 10 Healthy Missional Markers – Transforming Communities Through Active Compassion, Mercy and Justice Ministries

We had a special guest preacher come and share with us about this text and marker. Tim Keener is a missionary/church planter who is seeking and discerning what God has for him, his family, and the Covenant Church in Montreal, QC. Tim asked the question that even Micah's name requires us to ask... "Who is like the Lord?" An important question for reflection as we engage in this marker.

04 Mar: 10 Healthy Missional Markers – Sacrificial & Generous Living & Giving

This is week eight of our 10 Healthy Missional Marker series. We looked at Romans 12:1-8 and what it means to give our bodies as a living sacrifice... what it means to give ourselves, our gifts, our talents, our finances, our influence, the very things we value to God. We were reminded of the truth we read in 1 John 4:19 "We love because he first loved us." We give because God first gave to us.

12 Feb: Family Day 2015

In this special Family Day sermon... Pastor Eric Hedberg explore what it means to be a part of the church family, in terms of our own community here at Emmanuel, and part of the greater Christian family.
