Palm Sunday is the beginning of a week of tension… tension for Jesus, tension for his disciples, tension for the crowds that have seen Jesus’ miracles and are expecting the Messiah to overthrow the Romans… We often live in tension as well. As we remember this week Jesus’ walk towards the cross on Good Friday, we better understand our Lord and Saviour as we understand the tensions he experienced during Holy Week.
