As we begin this new year it is important not to allow the hope and joy and peace of Christmas fade away as we return to our regular lives. Celebrating Christmas is easy, it’s expected, it’s all around us. Living as Christmas people, and doing the real work of Christmas is harder. Over these next two months we’ll be looking, week by week, at what it means to be Christmas people.
This week we spent some time in reflection and in discussion about the primary call God has placed on all of us in Christ. You will find these discussion questions linked above. I encourage you to take a look at them, and regularly reflect (and discuss with others) how you are living out this call to follow Jesus by loving God and loving others.
