First Sunday in Lent

Lent is a season for us to step back and reorient ourselves towards God, to recognize who God is in our lives and in the world, and to be reminded of how God values us and values the world.

This first Sunday of Lent we looked at three ways in which Jesus was tempted in the wilderness and how we understand those temptations and can learn from Jesus’ example to resist temptation.
