Eric Hedberg, and his wife, Erikka, came to EECC in January of 2013.  After years in camping ministry, Eric sensed a call from God to congregational ministry.  After 18 months as Community Life Pastor, and almost a year as Interim Lead Pastor, Eric was called as the Lead Pastor of Emmanuel Covenant Church in June of 2015.  

Eric is passionate about people and helping people experience a rich and deep relationship with Jesus Christ.  As Lead Pastor of EECC, Eric is excited to help people engage in the knowledge and confidence that they are beloved children of God.

Eric graduated from North Park University with a BA in Biblical & Theological Studies and Economics.  He graduated from North Park Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree, and from North Park University with a Master of Business Administration.  Eric is Ordained to Word & Sacrament in the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Some of Eric’s favourite things include: his maltipoo Posy, swimming, both coaching and playing ultimate frisbee, all kinds of music, The Chronicles of Narnia, classical music by Gustav Holst, Amazing Race, Scrubs, Arrested Development, the Minnesota Twins, the Chicago Bulls, Bears, and Blackhawks, and the Vancouver Whitecaps.
